Cork Trans Pride March

July 4

Join the Cork Trans Pride march this Saturday from 2 pm outside the City Library on Grand Parade and march behind Gay Project's banner. The march will last about 40 minutes, followed by speeches once the march returns to Grand Parade. There will be a social at The Park bar on South Main Street from 4 pm - 6 pm.

Sounds Queer to Me Show

Sounds Queer to Me is musical theatre meets stand-up comedy and consists of a series of short stories, interspersed with original songs, sharing the highs and lows of Ivy's love life over a 5-year period.

Filled with dramatic irony, humorous coincidence, and poignant introspection, SQtM is an amusing, quirky, and heartfelt journey of love, loss, learning and self discovery, told through the lens of the queer experience.

There’s also an opportunity to join in on the fun from the audience!

Cork Pride 5K

Front runners Cork are hosting their annualCork Pride 5K race, this year at Marina Park (the one by Páirc Uí Chaoimh).

This is a timed 18+ race, but all levels are welcome. And for every finisher, a beautiful Cork Pride 5K medal awaits!

Post poor decision making and after a journey of self-discovery, stand-up comedian ALOK is coming to Cork with a show about comedy about love, heartbreak, and the end times. Their therapist said stop dating projects, so they built one and are charging admission.

ALOK dissects desire, denial, and the stories we tell ourselves to keep going. Suffering is universal. It might as well be funny.

The Queer Appear, Here!

"What would you like the wider public to know about your experience or identity that you feel is misunderstood?"

The Queer Appear, Here is a response to the stories of six anonymous LGBTQI+ voices who shared their experience when asked that question. Expect dance, circus, pole work, sound, and live vocals in this powerful performance Cork's trans+, gender non-conforming, or gender creative community.

The Cork LGBT Archive and Cork Public Museum are opening the LGBTQ Exhibition ‘We Were Always Here’. The exhibition will be permanent and live at Cork Public Museum, located in Fitzgerald Park. It will be open from August 19th with guided tours available.
