The Picturehouse is celebrating its third birthday, and you're invited!

We’ve spent 3 glorious years showcasing comedies, dramas, animations, music videos, visual art, tone poems, horrors and much more!

Join us for a very special black-tie event as we display some new work from local filmmakers and celebrate the work our community has had to offer over the past twelve months with The People's Picture of The Year Awards Ceremony!

About the People’s Picturehouse:

On the last Wednesday of every month, we screen locally-made short films, sketches, music videos, animation, experimental films and everything in between at The Pavilion. At the Picturehouse, we ask submitters to present their work in person, so attendees and other filmmakers might get the chance to connect and collaborate in future. The event is more relaxed than your typical festival programme (the on-site cocktail bar probably helps). Since we started we've platformed over 300 filmmakers. Our goal is to continue and offer a platform for anyone to have their work screened (even if you're not from Cork).
