Knitted Exhibition of Bible Stories

There is a knitted exhibition featuring famous scenes from the Bible until August 31st, taking place in St Fachtna’s Cathedral, Rosscarbery, West Cork.

There are over 30 stories from both the Old and New Testaments featured in the exhibition, including The Garden of Eden, Noah and the Ark, Joseph and his coat of many colours, David and Goliath, Jonah and the Whale, The Nativity and Parable of the Lost Sheep.

Whether you’re practising religion regularly, have an interest in crafts and knitting, or you enjoy an exhibition, St Fachtna’s Cathedral welcomes all and is absolutely worth a visit!

The exhibition is running until August 31st.

There’s a gift shop in the foyer of the Cathedral filled with locally made gifts which are available to purchase while the church is open. There’s also an interactive screen sharing the history of Rosscarbery.
