Banished is a live social deduction game show staged as theatre. Fourteen volunteers are drawn from the audience and seated at a long table under stage lights. Three of them are secretly assigned as the Hidden.

Nobody knows which three. A live game of treachery: fourteen strangers, three liars, one room trying to work out who.

It’s kind of like Traitors

Over roughly two hours, the table plays out a series of nights and mornings. When the curtain falls, the Hidden choose someone to remove. When it rises, the survivors argue, accuse and defend themselves in front of a room close enough to read them. Each round, the table votes one of its own out, and the banished player reveals their true role aloud before leaving the stage. The audience is not passive: once a round, every person in the room casts an anonymous vote from their phone, and the room's tally appears on the big screen before the players decide. Nothing is scripted. The moderator runs the rules; everything else is improvised by ordinary people under pressure.
