Free 5-day Filmmaking workshop for LGBTQ+ Youth

Priosma Gemstones is hosting a free 5-day filmmaking workshop for young people, August 10th - 14th, at UCC. The filmmaking workshop is open to youth between the ages of 14-18 who identify as LGBTQ+, and or are allies throughout Cork City and Cork County.

Young people can expect to learn from professionals in the film industry, as well as how to write and direct their own films. Throughout the 5 days, participants will also explore LGBTQ+ cinema history. All materials for the week, and lunch will be provided.

At the end of the workshop, they will screen their work at PRIOSMA Queer Film Festival running September 13th -16th

The course is free of charge and will take place at UCC Main Campus from the 10th to the 14th of August, from 10 am to 5 pm each day. Open to people aged 14-18.

Spaces are limited, so applying as soon as possible is encouraged.
